Justin & Hudson Are Visiting Us

Monday morning we left Handsacre it was raining lightly but it is meant to clear out today.
Really Nice Old Boat

Nice Twisty Canal

We are very excited as our eldest son Justin and grandson Hudson will be arriving late afternoon to visit us for a few days.

It was very busy up to Great Haywood but a very enjoyable cruise it was. The rain did stop for a short while. When we got to Great Haywood Marina we checked in and made our way to the pontoon we are on.

This is when I made a very silly error and stepped off Tacet too quickly on to the wooden Pontoon and I lost my footing one leg slipping hard down on side of the pontoon and the other leg sliding down the other side with my arse sat right in the middle.
Didn’t realise I could still do the splits. My right leg has got the biggest bruise I have ever had and it has been very painful.

At 6.00 our son and Grandson arrived it is so lovely to see them both, Sharon & I got a lovely big hug from Hudson Justin does not do hugs.
We settled them into the boat and gave Hudson his new onesie He does love the Minions so he was really pleased with this.
Hudson
Tuesday we set off in lovely sunny weather but a bit chilly to Stone as we are going to spend Wednesday there as we are taking Hudson to a play centre in Stone.

Tuesday evening Hudson & Justin tried their hand at fishing but no luck tonight.

Wednesday we had a walk around Stone and got one or two things we needed. Wednesday afternoon we went to the play centre and Hudson had a fantastic 2 hours running around he made us feel tired just watching him.
On returning to Tacet Hudson wanted to go fishing and he was so excited when he caught a little fish, a few minutes later he caught another one he is a great fisherman.
