Gargrave & Beautiful Scenery

We left our lovely mooring on Friday mooring and had a really leisurely cruise taking in all the wonderful scenery this part of the Leeds & Liverpool is really wonderful. The canal twists and turns and is so much fun to cruise on especially when the sun is shining and the skies are blue.
We moored at Gargrave a really lovely little village and very popular with people. We had a walk along the River Aire and used the stepping stones to cross to the other side. Eddy also had a very lovely walk along the towpath and was admired by lots of fellow boaters.
Saturday we decided to stay put for the day and start our wine making kit which we had brought back in Middlewich. It should be ready for drinking in a weeks time.
That evening we went out with Gerry & Honour for a meal at one of the local pubs. Sharon & I had steak & Kidney suet pudding which was very good indeed.
