Keighley & Riddlesden Hall. Bingley Five Rise

Wednesday morning we were joined by Gerry & Honour from The Great Escape as we had left them behind on Tuesday. We all went to Riddlesden Hall a National Trust property and very nice it was to, not to big that you ( I ) get bored just right.

There was a bit of a wait at the locks but we were down them by 1.00 PM. The locks are operated by the Lock-keeper and some volunteers but they do like you to help as well.
After the Bingley 5 locks we made our way to the Bingley 3 Rise locks and again were helped through these by the Lock Keeper. We then had a very pleasant cruise to Saltaire where we moored for the evening. We work today to very heavy rain so stayed put till it eased off. We then had a short cruise to Bridge 211 for the evening.
